The well rounded nose of our 2008 Sauvignon Blanc commences with hints of papaya and orange rind. The complex bevy of aromas then proceeds to delicate notes of Chamomile and lemon shortbread cookies before concluding by taking my olfactory senses on a trip down memory lane to that nostalgic aroma of an “orange creamsicle”. On the palate this beautifully balanced wine offers generous helpings of that quintessential grapefruit character that is synonymous with Sauvignon Blanc. Flavours of lemon custard infused with passion fruit dance on your palate as the fresh acidity rounds out the mouth feel of this crisp clean wine.
