If you are looking for true chardonnay fruit character this wine hits the nail on the head. Running the gamut of tropical aromas it presents itself with familiar pineapple aromas that flow into hints of mango starfruit and banana. A delicate nuance of a freshly peeled Satsuma orange finishes off the lovely aromatic bouquet of this wine. Pineapple comes back on the palate before giving way to wonderfully integrated flavours of banana chips, fresh apricots and just the slightest hint of kumquats. The 2008 SageCliffe Chardonnay is left with just a kiss of residual sugar to balance the bright crisp acidity on the finish of this great easy drinking wine for those warm sunny days.
