2007 Cave B Chardonnay

Our 2007 Cave B Chardonnay brings us back to what Cave B Estate Chardonnay is all about. With fruit that abounds on the nose and on the palate, accompanied by that distinct Cave B Chardonnay minerality and wonderfully integrated oak. The nose commences with a healthy dose of persimmon that leads into aromas of ripe papaya and meyer lemon zest. The well integrated oak lends hints of caramel and lightly grilled pineapple. Upon tasting this elegant Chardonnay your palate is greeted with a mouthful of fresh quince flavours followed by that grilled pineapple that was introduced on the nose along with nuances of papaya. That beautiful minerality comes back on the finish before giving in to the long finish of buttery caramel.
